Human Right Protection Cell

The human rights movement represents a historical journey that began with the institutionalization of political and social orders. This movement has had a profound impact on history besides a universal presence and powerful potential. The concept of human rights is dynamic, constantly changing as society evolves. In keeping with the requirements and guidelines of Bangalore City University, a Human Rights Cell is being constituted at SKIBS B SCHOOL.

Job Responsibilities

  • To raise awareness amongst students about abolition of child labor, environmental protection, sustainable development, protection of minorities and indigenous people and their culture
  • To educate students about their fundamental rights as guaranteed under Part III of the Indian Constitution
  • To conduct workshops to promote the culture of inclusiveness with respect to the LGBT community
  • To promote empathy towards the needs of differently abled people
